Fort Lewis 1878 - 1881

The following persons were buried in the Fort Lewis Cemetery. After Fort Lewis was officially abandoned in 1891 all identifiable military personnel were removed from the cemetery to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

After Fort Lewis was moved to Hesperus, Colorado the cemetery was called the Pagosa Springs Cemetery. The following persons were buried there and have headstones.

*These dates are incorrect, according to newspaper obituaries all three died in 1892.
